Fish Market Trip

Also took a sneaky trip to the fish market this morning, it's rare that I make it up early enough to catch this but this morning I did and these are some of the spoils!

Red Tilapia, getting more and more common on menus across the country;

Some Beautiful Scallops in the Shell;

And the lovely Raving Dave at Big Fish Little Fish with some equally lovely Lemon Sole;

As ever, for pricing and supply, call our lovely office girls who will be happy to help.

The Figs have landed!

Gorgeous Turkish figs, fresh into market this morning;

Now we would usually have these with a little honey, perhaps some yoghurt maybe some cheese; but these little beauties? Out of the box, in the market, juice on our chins...this is the way fruit should taste.

Also this morning, fresh Tamara dates,

And Wine Grapes, spilling out of their Montepulciano d'Abruzzo stamped wooden crates just waiting to be smushed into wine or as Jamie Oliver suggests, frozen and served with good quality dark chocolate shavings. Hungry anyone?

As ever, for prices and to order, call our lovely office girls who will be happy to help.

Kent Cobnuts

We have a few boxes of these little lovelies in stock. Once a year delicacies that they are, we had to have a sneaky google  to what what exactly you can do with them and turned up some interesting and a little strange combinations...watercress and Cobnut soup anyone?

Much Love,

A Ray of Sunshine perhaps

The Weather in Manchester is customarily vile, but in our fridges we have lurking a little ray of Spanish Sunshine in the form of these beautiful yellow fleshed peaches...

These make us think of Spiced Rum and a beach with not too much stretching of the imagination mmm...

To Order call the office...more treats to come soon

Much Love
