A Pumpkin is not just for Halloween...

As some of our customers will be aware, last week we ran a cheeky little comptetiton to see who could use their cheffy knife skills to carve the best pumpkin...the winning entry is below;

But we also thought that a late entry from Louie Tait was Gorgeous ( not even a little bit influenced by his being the CUTEST child ever!!!)

SO... we have decided to throw it out there again. Can anyone beat these? ANYONE??? We shall see!

We also have pumpkins and squash for eating in stock this week;

Not just for hacking to bits to entertain! These are fab, tasty and oh so seasonal, prices and info, as ever, from our lovely office girls.
Much Love,

Noonesfresh

How to make an apple naughty :-)

An apple a day keeps the doctor away. Yes, were entirely sure it does contribute to a healthy and well rounded life, but don't you agree that when the weather rolls in, it gets bloody freezing and you can justify a little extra blubber, the person who decided  to dip sanctimonious little apples in butterscotch, toffee or chocolate-with-sprinkles, was a.) a genius and b.) someone who you would quite like to be friends with.

So when we found that there was a great little operation in Gorton, not 500m from our desks at NoonesfreshHQ making ALL THREE varieties, we went to investigate (sample/taste/devour/annihilate, delete as appropriate :) )

Excuse us whilst we shake off the sugar rush.

As ever, all info available from the lovely nooonesfresh team.

Much Love

Treats of the Week

With the unexpected heatwave well and truly behind us (speaking for those within 100 miles of our freezing cold office) we can all comfortably go back to making soup, eating Partridge and pretending we live in the countryside...

This is whats caught Mike's eye this week, and obviously, its GORGEOUS...

First out of the blocks;

Onion Squash, grown in Southport at Hesketh Bank by the lovely Mr Pope, these are reasonable beyond measure are only around 15cm in diameter avg. they are cute as buttons.

Pink Fir Apple Potatoes;little bit of butter, perf, as Frankie Noonette would say.

DONT freak out, we are absolutley NOT suggesting anything to do with the C word...but we believe that Cranberries are for Autumn, not just for C********

And finally, we are still stocking our Mixed Sakura Cresses (as modelled beautifully by Maggie, our Sales Director), these can give a little buit of sparkle to Anything so we are told, perfect for when we really are feeling the winter come in.

And a close up, just for you Angelo!

And thats all folks. As ever, for information and prices, call our lovely office girls.

Much Love,

Noonesfresh
